Does PS5 Support Bluetooth Headphones?

Does PS5 support Bluetooth headphones? If you've either bought or are on the hunt for Sony's latest console you've likely asked yourself this question.

Being able to connect your Bluetooth headphones is a great alternative to purchasing any of the best headsets for PS5, and it gives you wireless freedom from day one.

Nowadays connectivity is a big thing for gamers and the 'more is better' motto is certainly the norm.

But if that's the case, then surely a console as next-gen as the PS5 should deliver the goods in this respect?

Here's everything you need to know about PS5 Bluetooth connectivity.

Does PS5 Support Bluetooth?

Officially speaking, no, which is somewhat jarring with what you'd expect from a new console, but ultimately not the end of the world.

Let's face it, we'd take 120hz at 4K and PS5 exclusives over Bluetooth connectivity any day!

However, the good news is that, much like with PS5 ultrawide support, there are ways around this and certain hacks you can do to connect your Bluetooth headphones to your console.

How To Connect Bluetooth Headphones To PS5

There's a quick fix to this and it involves buying any of the best Bluetooth transmitters on the market today.

These work by simply plugging into a device and allowing you to connect to it via Bluetooth.

They come with different adapters themselves, making them able to fit into USB-C, USB-A, or even 3.5 mm audio jack ports. With PS5, you'll want to go for one that can be used with a USB-C port or USB-A port.

Once that's in, follow the instructions, pair your headphones and then you should be able to use Bluetooth with Ps5.

What Bluetooth Headphones Work With PS5?

Officially, none, but with this hack theoretically you can use any Bluetooth headphones, including Apple Air Buds.
