Will Resetti Be In Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

If you're picking up Animal Crossing: New Horizons this March, you may have heard that the save feature is now changing to autosave.

This is great for players but you may be unsure what impact this has on Resetti - as he played an annoying part in the saving mechanism in past games.

Keep up to date with everything Animal Crossing by watching below!

Will Resetti Be In Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Yes, Mr Resetti will return in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, operating for an emergency rescue service that will take you back to your home if you are lost.

In previous versions of Animal Crossing, Restti would appear if the player had turned off their game without saving.

Originally, this was implemented to discourage cheaters who would reset the game and turn the system time backwards to make the daily stock at Tom Nook's store change.

If a player resets the game enough, Mr Resetti will want the player to type out things like, "I am stupid." and "I stink."

Rumours have circulated that he will even delete your saved file, although this has never been confirmed.

In New Leaf, his appearances could be turned off.
