Animal Crossing New Horizons is getting a huge Summer update later this week, including Fireworks Shows, Dreaming, and the long-awaited backup service.
As per Nintendo, the update will land on July 30 - here's everything you need to know.

Animal Crossing Summer Update Features
Lucky islanders are in for a treat, as every Sunday in August they'll be able to enjoy "atmospheric fireworks" (presumably, they're the same as non-atmospheric ones), with players able to add custom design patterns to them.
On top of that, players can redeem raffle tickets in the plaza to earn festive items to decorate their tropical paradise.
That's not all, either, as players can now dream. Essentially allowing players to find themselves in a strange realm interacting with Luna, who allows players to visit other islands (and welcome visitors) as part of a dream. And because it's a dream, there are no consequences!
Keep your eye out for Redd visiting your island! He's arriving to set up a stall during the firework shows. You can enter a raffle drawing to get various rewards.
Finally, Nintendo has finally confirmed an "Island Backup and Restoration Service" which will let players' saves and island data be uploaded "at certain times". This is ideal for anyone who has lost progress because their Switch console was damaged or lost, although Nintendo is still saying that players MAY be able to recover their data - so don't take it for granted.
It's also worth noting that the service is only available for those that have a Nintendo Switch Online account.
