Following a massive leak in 2022, the now-rumoured Apex Legends Conduit character is a hot topic among fans of Respawn's hit battle royale game. Conduit will debut during Season 19, Ignite, and she was finally revealed in the newest Story From The Outlands lore trailer. We're excited to find out exactly what she can do, but for now, you can check out the lore video below.
The original Apex Legends leak included a rough outline of a model (thanks u/Legitimate_Chapter) with no detail and only a generic colour that may or may not have anything to do with the final character. Unlike Vantage, it was always going to be a while before we got some concrete information.
This guide covers what we know about Conduit in Apex Legends so far, including her skills, release date, and more. If you’re looking for more Apex Legends, take a look at our Apex Legends tier list showcasing the best Legends to use in Season 18.
Apex Legends Conduit release date
After years of anticipation, we finally know when Conduit will be hot-dropping into the battlefield. She is due to appear at the dawn of the new season, titled Ignite, which is slated for release on October 31, 2023. We've added a handy timer below so know exactly when you can check her out.
Apex Legends Season 19: Ignite
The leaked footage hosted on Reddit shows very little detail on Conduit's model compared even to Newcastle's, with nothing even suggesting what the character might look like in-game. The lore trailer revealed her face, but we don't know what her base skin will look like yet.
Apex Legends Conduit abilities
According to the leak, Conduit focuses on defence, but there's a high chance she could fall into the Support class due to her ability to transfer shields to teammates. Here's a closer look at the rumoured abilities:
- Passive: Capacitance - Automatically recharges her shield. Works faster when near teammates.
- Tactical: Arc Flash - Restores ally shields using her own shield
- Ultimate: Alternating Current - Throws a cluster bomb, which damages enemy shields and restores her own.
Like most defenders, Conduit is laser-focused on shielding, but can also provide tactical shield regeneration as a means of support to those lucky enough to be in her team. As always, it's important to take leaks with a pinch of salt. Once we hear more, we'll update the guide with everything you need to know.
