Running into the Battlefield 2042 15-7A, 1004G, or 1302P:1300P:1004G error? You're not alone. The Unable to Load Persistence Data problem is popping up frequently, and while EA and DICE have been trying to sort out fixes in the patch notes, the issue continues. At the time of writing, Battlefield 2042 has just had its third update, and sometimes live service games like this struggle to survive when their servers are chock-full.

Battlefield 2042 15-7A Error Fix - Unable to Load Persistence Data
The 15-7A (or 1302P:1300P:1004G) error will likely resolve itself over time or during periods of lower server stress. You can sometimes manage to get into another mode, such as Hazard or Breakthrough, but if you're insistent on playing the main mode, there is another way.
You can try power cycling your console by turning it fully. To do this, follow these steps on Xbox:
- Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds
- Unplug your console
- Wait for 1 minute
- Plug the console back in and reopen the game
On Playstation, here's how to power cycle your console:
- Hold the power button to turn off the console completely
- Wait for the power light to stop flashing
- Remove the power cable
- Leave the console for 20 minutes
- Plug the console back in and try again, opening it in safe mode
This method clears the console's cache, though it's not guaranteed to resolve Battlefield's Unable to Load Persistence Data problem.
If you're playing through EA Origin, clearing your cache is a bit different.
- Hold the Windows key and "R"
- type "ProgramData%/Origin" into the text box (without quotation marks)
- Choose "Ok"
- Delete all folders except "Local Content"
