Destiny 2's Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack Doesn't Support Cross-Save

Bungie's confirmed that Destiny 2's upcoming dungeon, courtesy of the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack, works like a DLC. As it's not a full expansion, it won't support cross-saves, so any gear earned can only be used on the platform it was purchased.

Gaming Bolt reports that the clarification was made during a recent blog post on This Week at Bungie. Once the dungeon is available, you can only access it one platform at a time, meaning if you bought it on a PC, you'd need to buy it again if you want it on your Xbox.

New Destiny 2 Dungeon In Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack Won't Be Supporting Cross-Save

Bungie's 30th Anniversary pack includes the game's exotic rocket launcher Gjallarhorn, a bunch of iconic weapons, Sparrows, emotes, Ghost Shells, and exclusive ornament sets.

This celebration kicks off on December 7th with a free 6-player matchmade activity, which Bungie advise will contain "new secrets to unravel, and collectible rewards that commemorate our long and storied history."

As for Destiny 2, the game's next expansion called The Witch Queen has been pushed to a February 22, 2022. We'll keep you informed with further news closer to launch.
