ORIGINAL STORY CONTINUES: League of Legends Season 12 is nearly here and so too is the brand new League of Legends Patch Schedule for 2022. The twelfth season of Riot's famous MOBA has already released a preseason update with some fairly significant changes, but you can be sure that the team will have plenty more buffs, nerfs, and champion changes with every new patch that drops.
For those who don't know Riot's popular MOBA pushes out updates roughly every two weeks, along with official League of Legends Patch Notes that detail all the changes to the game. That's 24 in total, all aimed at keeping the game fresh with content and addressing any major issues that are causing havoc to the game.
These updates typically take place on a Wednesday (with some occurring on a Tuesday or Thursday), but there's a whole schedule of patches planned throughout 2022. With that in mind, you might want to bookmark this page to stay up to date.
League of Legends 2021 Patch Schedule
We imagine most fans of League know, but for the sake of anyone knew, a new League of Legends Patch is released roughly every two weeks. During this time, Riot Games will normally work on their update via the games public beta environment (PBE). It could be that at the start of a new patch, some major buffs, nerfs, and changes are planned before being further tweaked or changed ahead of shipping the release to live servers.
Although we don't yet know what changes will be planned throughout 2022, we do know roughly when the new patches will arrive. Without further ado, here's when you can expect the next updates for League of Legends to land throughout 2022:

When do new LoL patches go live in-game?
As we've touched on, League of Legends releases a new update every two weeks.
Although each update might vary slightly in size, Riot Games are normally fairly consistent with when these updates are released onto League of Legends servers.
Whilst there are no exact release times provided by the developer or support teams, we do have a rough guide for the fortnightly LoL Maintenance. It usually begins at roughly 3AM PT for North American servers, 5AM GMT in the UK for EU Servers, and 3AM CET for European North-East servers. Downtime normally lasts three hours before the new League of Legends update is ready to be downloaded.
