Sniper Elite 5: How to Get to Attic and Find Marcel

As gratuitous as the slo-mo headshots are in Sniper Elite 5, some of the objectives in the game require a little more thought that shooting your way in. Even in the first mission, The Atlantic Wall, you need to find a guy called Marcel. To find him, you'll need to know how to get into the attic in Sniper Elite 5's first mission, and we've got the details on how exactly to do that. It's not fun getting stuck right at the start, after all.

Once you've narrowed down Marcel's location to a single house, you'll find out that you need to get into the attic, with the main way up being blocked by some planks of wood that you, for whatever reason, cannot move. Therefore, it's time to find another way up.

How to Get to the Attic in Sniper Elite 5

Now, when it comes to getting into the attic in Sniper Elite 5, the solution is actually very simple. It's one of those occam's razor situations where the wooden blockade makes you overcomplicate things.

Don't bother wasting time wandering around the house looking for another way up: you won't find one. Instead, head outside and round to the rear of the house. There, you'll see some vines growing up the outside wall, which you can climb up.

Climb up, and you'll be able to get through a gap and into the attic you're trying to reach. As we said, nice and simple: but not immediately obvious. It's the sneaky teenager approach.

Once you get inside, you'll find Marcel and the key you're after. Once you have it, you'll want to head back to one of the bedrooms on the top floor of the house, where you'll spot a safe that's built into the floor. Getting it open will get you the intel you're after and complete the mission's objectives.

And that's all there is to getting into the attic in Sniper Elite 5. If you've not picked up the game quite yet, it's worth noting that the game can be played at no extra cost on Xbox Game Pass, so check it out.
