The brilliant arcade flight combat game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is going portable. Following the game’s release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC, Bandai Namco is bringing the high-octane plane game to Nintendo Switch.
Releasing as Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown - Deluxe Edition, the new Switch version will include all DLC available in the original’s season pass. However, the game’s PS4 bonus VR mode is absent in this new port of the game.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown also saw additional DLC that wasn’t included in the season pass. This content isn’t available in the new Switch port, but will be sold sometime after release.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown - Deluxe Edition is one of just a few games in the series to release on Nintendo platforms. Outside of a Game Boy Advance game, and a 3DS remake of Ace Combat 2, the series has been kept fairly distant from Nintendo systems.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown releases on Nintendo Switch on July 11, 2024. Bandai Namco has not revealed resolutions or framerate targets for the Switch port in docked or portable mode.
