King of Fighters Allstar Announces Collaboration Event With Street Fighter V

We aren't getting Capcom vs SNK 3 anytime soon, but fans can get something close to it, as the King of Fighters Allstar just announced a collaboration event with Capcom’s Street Fighter 5. There's no release date yet, though developer Netmarble launched a teaser website, claiming it'll be coming soon.

Translations from GameSpot revealed that six Street Fighter characters are coming to KOF Allstar, with Ryu and Chun-Li announced as the first two. Chun-Li includes a Street Fighter Alpha costume in the game, which we'd assume would be an unlockable reward.

Allstar is no stranger to these crossovers, as the beat-em-up mobile game also added characters from Tekken, Guilty Gear, and even WWE. Even without the guest stars, Allstar contains numerous SNK fan favourites, including Kyo, Iori, Terry Bogard, Mai Shiranui, and more.

Interested fans can download King of Fighters Allstar for mobile devices now since it’s a free-to-play game (with microtransactions). Players after a more traditional console experience can pick up King of Fighters 15 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC right now.
