Fruit plays a major role in Animal Crossing: New Horizons as you continue to progress in the construction of your island. Not only is fruit somewhat easy to cultivate, but there are several options for determining what kind of fruit you have access to.
What you do with the fruit is entirely up to you, as you are able to eat it for nourishment or sell them for Bells. The process of getting all fruit is the same in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and today we'll be going over how you can acquire bananas for your island.

Finding bananas in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Firstly, you'll need 2000 Nook Miles. Complete the game's many objectives to earn these, then spend them at a Nook Point to buy a Nook Miles Ticket. Once you have it, head to Dodo Airlines, and you'll be whisked away to another island.
On this new island, you will be able to find certain items that are not native to your island. This includes all sorts of fruit, which is obviously our main goal here. These new islands tend to be randomly assigned fruit, so keep your eyes peeled for trees that don't have the same fruit as you already have.
Once you find a banana tree, give it a shake and eat the bananas that fall. This will make your character strong enough to uproot the tree by using a shovel.
After you are done chopping down the banana tree and have it safely in your inventory, you can leave the island or hang around for a bit longer to discover any other new items.
Either way, once you return to your own island, you can plant the banana tree, and you will now have a constant source of bananas in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
