Rather than having the appearance of facial features being decided after talking to a cat, you can literally just pick your nose (ha ha).

If you want to change both your face and hairstyle in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you're gonna need to build a vanity table or mirror.
To build a basic full length mirror you need both its DIY recipe and:
5x Wood1x Iron NuggetOnce you've built this, place it in your house or around the island and then interact with it.
You'll be returned to the character customisation and can alter your appearance in any way you like.
