The Apex Legends July 19 patch notes contain a wealth of fixes and adjustments to Respawn Entertainment's battle royale. The developers behind Apex Legends often apply updates in order to address any game-breaking issues and in Season 17, there's been a fair few problems impacting players.

With Season 18 moving into view, attention is already turning to ranked changes on their way and the potential of a new Legend joining the ranks.

But, before we take a closer look at the July 19 patch notes, take a look at our Apex Legends weapon tier list showcasing the best weaponry to use right now.

Apex Legends July 19 update patch notes

Without further ado, here are the full Apex Legends July 19 patch notes:

  • Being unable to spawn on control points in Control (and reenabled this mode)
  • An issue using Tridents as Fuse and Rampart
  • A crash caused by Stickers
  • Some Gun Run matches requiring more than one knife kill

Arguably the biggest fix within the patch notes is the Trident glitch. The exploit allowed certain characters to drive around in the vehicles without taking any kind of damage even if the bullets were hitting the target. The fix is bound to improve casual and competitive matches.

Alongside addressing the Trident glitch, Respawn Entertainment also fixed an issue where stickers would cause the game to crash.

Additionally, the developers also fixed two problems affecting the Control and Gun Run modes from the Mixtape playlist. Players were unable to spawn on Control points while Gun Run fans no longer need to score an elimination with a Throwing Knife to score the win.

When is Apex Legends Season 18?

Based on when the battle pass comes to an end, Apex Legends Season 18 will begin on August 8, 2023. Of course, this date is subject to change and as soon as Respawn Entertainment confirm the start date, you'll be the first to know.
