The Longbow DMR is one of the four Sniper Rifles in Apex Legends. It is also one of the most common snipers to find in Supply Bins or at loot points on every map. However, this doesn't instantly mean it is a perfect weapon.
The Longbow, like all snipers, uses sniper ammunition. This is easy to spot as it's purple and it's typically one that a lot of squads leave unless they have a sniper. This means you can collect plenty of it, even if the rest of the loot drop has been emptied. The Longbow itself is quite useful. In terms of snipers, it is quite basic but it can be heavily modified with a variety of attachments.
On this page, we're going to tell you everything you need to know about the Longbow DMR.

Review
The Longbow DMR might be best at long range, but as we’ve already noted it can do a job up close. It won’t replace your shotgun, but with accurate hip fire, it could get you out of a pinch. The damage per shot is good enough, but like the Kraber, it can shoot through enemies. This gives you a good opportunity to tear enemies to shreds if they bunch together. While it has a low rate of fire, it’s still much more forgiving than the Kraber and the fact you can typically easily find it on the battlefield is a bonus.
The Longbow DMR is the basic sniper rifle that is perfect for moulding to your specifications in Apex Legends. However, if you really want to get your hands on a powerful Sniper then the Sentinel is for you. The unique charge ability of this weapon increases its already powerful stats for 8 shots.
