Apex Legend Mobile Delay
Over time Apex Legends is coming to as many platforms as possible.
The title just launched on Steam and is coming to Nintendo Switch in the future.
For a while fans have been waiting for Respawn to follow in the footsteps of games like Fortnite, coming to mobile.
The team confirmed that a mobile version of the game is in works but it will be coming later than they thought.
It was initially believed to launch in it's bare-bones by the end of 2020 but we're getting to the end of the year and there's no sign of release.
In Respawn's quarter two financial results, EA CEO, Andrew Wilson, revealed the mobile version is still being worked on but development should finish early 2021.
Apex Legends mobile should be making its way to players in the 2022 fiscal year which begin April 1st of 2021.
Correction: #ApexLegends mobile will be ready to launch in FY22, not Q1. This is October 2021 - September 2022

Although, that fiscal year ends September 2022, meaning the team has a large time scale to finish the port.
The app is intending to launch on both IOS and Andriod which could add to the delay.
We don't currently know the reasoning behind the push back, maybe the pandemic?
In the meantime, we'll keep an eye out for the release date and keep you updated.
