Ark: Genesis Part 2 might be great for the story and all of that dinosaur action, whether it be shooting them or taming them, but the game still has some of the more intense multiplayer action out there thanks to a fairly active PVP crowd.
Since PVP can get fairly intense in Ark: Genesis Part 2, players try to find the best bases in the game so they can get an advantage over others, which can be a bit of a problem when you’re starting out and trying to gather materials for missions.

Ark Genesis 2: Best Base Locations To Start
Without further ado, here are some good starter base locations for Ark: Genesis Part 2.
Bay Doors (30.7/80.3)
This is a fairly solid location to start out your PVP in Ark: Genesis Part 2 as the Bay Doors is a fairly enclosed area where it will be easy for you to place turrets and keep the competition away.
You’ll also have plenty of space to hide to get an advantage over your opponents, which is always helpful when the PVP gets really intense.
Tiny Hangar (18.1/89.1)
Players will see Tiny Hanger is a good starting point for a PVP base in Ark: Genesis Part 2, as the area is fairly cramped for easy turret placing.
It will be easy to shoot down players that go guns blazing so make sure to stand your ground and take out anything that moves.
Giant Waterfall (18.6/70.3)
A beautiful place to start up your base in Ark: Genesis Part 2, as you can take out players from above, given how much space there is, or below.
Maybe not a priority but a good enough PVP base so definitely try it out when you can.
Ark: Genesis Part 2 is now available on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
