Ubisoft steered away from their yearly model of games, and they are gearing up to make Valhalla the best Assassins Creed title.
Now, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is released all over the world.
Today is also the first step into next-generation gaming with the release of the Series X.
The game features a lot of the core mechanics introduced in Odyssey, which had a heavy focus on RPG elements.
A revamped feature within Valhalla is the new healing mechanic, which can be tricky at first.
Here's how it works along with how to find rations around the map!
Healing
The early stages of Valhalla are essentially a tutorial to all of the new mechanics within.
One of these is the new healing system, which is rather confusing at first.
Over the course of the world, you will be able to loot and interact with food, berries, and other consumable items labeled 'Rations'.
These rations are used for healing your character throughout the game,
You will only be able to store one full ration at the first, but as the game progresses you will be able to store more and more.
Now, the process of healing is easy, and it just depends on the platform you are playing on!
If you are playing on the console, you are going to want to hit the right D-Pad button.
While on PC, you can use the 'H' key; conveniently placed to heal your player!
Healing is a core mechanic of Valhalla, so it is important to get used to this new system.
