Assassin’s Creed Mirage marks a promising return to the series' roots, going back to basics by focusing on stealth and delivering and a less overwhelming experience. Naturally, as fans eagerly anticipate its release, the question arises: Is Assassin’s Creed Mirage on Game Pass?
We've seen a few Assassin's Creed games come to Microsoft's service in the past. However, Ubisoft's foray into gaming services of their own with Ubisoft+ could have a huge impact on Mirage's chances of making it into Game Pass.
With that said, let's find out if Assassin's Creed Mirage is coming to Game Pass or not.
Is AC Mirage on Game Pass?
For those hoping to find this game on Xbox's subscription service, the answer is currently no. Neither Xbox nor Ubisoft has confirmed its inclusion in the Game Pass library. However, you can access Assassin’s Creed Mirage through Ubisoft+.
Similar to Game Pass, Ubisoft+ provides access to a vast game collection, along with premium DLC and content, for a monthly fee. Obviously, all the games offered are Ubisoft titles, and yes, Assassin's Creed Mirage is on said service from day one.
Keep in mind that like Game Pass, you won't own the game; access is tied to your subscription. However, your progress will be saved should you decide to purchase the game or renew your Ubisoft+ subscription.
Ubisoft+ was initially available on Xbox and PC, later coming to PlayStation consoles, offering the full Assassin’s Creed Mirage experience on console at launch.
Now, just because Ubisoft has its own subscription service that doesn't mean Assassin's Creed Mirage won't be coming to Game Pass in the near future. At the time of writing both Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey are currently part of the subscription service.
Of course, don't expect that to happen anytime soon. That's it! We have plenty of more Assassin's Creed content for you to enjoy, check out our guides for the Warlord and Mirage Al-Ghul assassination guides.
