After years of waiting, Warzone Mobile has released on iOS and Android. While not a replacement for Call of Duty: Mobile, this conversion of the console CoD experience is, sadly, an underwhelming experience for all players.

While players are currently tinkering with the best Warzone Mobile settings to make the game playable, it seems that’s impossible — even when going above the system requirements. In a recent Reddit post, players claim that there’s no way to make the new CoD game run well, dubbing it the “worst CoD launch” ever.

In the Reddit thread, players of the new mobile game shared their issues with the title. Even on high-end iPhones, devices that typically receive more stable ports, are struggling to get consistent framerates in the new game.

“For me, it was terrible,” one player said of the Warzone Mobile launch. “I tried a game or two, and I tried to change my controls and everything was just bad. Bullets weren’t registering, the game was choppy, it crashed. And it’s not like I have a bad phone, I have the RedMagic 9.”

“I'm playing on an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I constantly get frame drops,” said another player. “The game is blurry feels like I'm playing a 2003 Black Hawk Down game graphics wise. Phone feels like a mini sun after one game smh.”

“The graphics are so horrible,” explained a high-end iPad player. “I've had multiple crashes and stutters in just an hour of gameplay.”

All of these technical problems don’t even touch the fact that many can barely even access Warzone Mobile at the time of writing. While servers are live, many are finding themselves unable to properly access the game’s multiplayer, and for once it’s not an anti-cheat issue.

On top of everything, there’s new additions that fans are finding confusing such as the introduction of Arsenal Coins and their associated Arsenal Store. It’s a lot to take in at once, especially for a game that seemingly doesn’t work as intended.

Nevertheless, Warzone Mobile is available right now on iOS and Android across most major regions. For more info, check out the full list of game modes here and a complete Warzone Mobile multiplayer maps list here.
