How to use Forge in Baldur's Gate 3
To use the Forge, you will need to find the following items:
- Mithral Ore - This can be found on two Mithril Ore deposit locations. The first location is an Ancient Temple, and the second Mithril ore will be present at the library-like area on the way to Adamantine Forge
- Mould - There are six types of Mould in the game, you can use any one of them. For extracting the Mould, you can interact with the lever next to the Mould chamber
- Lava - An easily accessible element
Once you have successfully gathered these items, follow these easier steps:
- Carefully position the Mithral Ore inside the Crucible and the chosen Mould in the Mould Chamber. The Crucible is where the Mithral Ore will be melted down, while the Mould acts as the blueprint for the item you wish to create.
- With the materials in place, it's time to heat things up! Locate the Lava Valve and, with a firm grip, pull it to raise the lava level within the Forge. The intense heat will melt the Mithral Ore within the Crucible, making it ready for the next crucial step.
- Once the lava level is appropriately increased, head over to the Forge Lever. Pull the Forge Lever down, allowing the molten Mithral to take the shape of the Mould, crafting the item you desire.
With all things done, the newly forged item will now be ready for use or for adorning your adventurer's journey.
Keep in mind that the Forge can only be used to create items that are listed in the "Forged Items" section of the game's wiki. Also, the quality of the item you create will depend on the quality of the materials you use.
