Here is how to leave camp in Baldur's Gate 3. Endlessly confronting the most dangerous creatures in the world and exploring the most confusing and labyrinth-like locations will always end up with the player asking for a break. Thankfully, games use level design to give this sense of tension and relaxation through cutscenes, long empty corridors to travel, or even checkpoints. Baldur's Gate 3 has the camp, and to visit or leave it can mean the difference between life and death.

However, many players would want to leave it once they are ready to go back and face the evils of the world. Out of those, players may encounter some trouble getting back to exploring, since leaving the camp is not as straightforward as it may seem. Today we will tell you exactly how to do it.

How to leave camp in Baldur's Gate 3

After spending some time interacting with your companions, resting for a bit, or even getting to know passing NPCs, you might notice that, in spite of you walking all around the camp, there is no way out of the place. But don't panic, it is pretty easy to leave camp in Baldur's Gate 3. You will have to follow the same process that might've got you there in the first place: fast travel.

Access the travel menu on the map and instead of the 'Camp' option, you will see the 'Leave Camp' option. You can then choose to return to the place you fast travelled from, or to any other fast travel location you have discovered along your travels in the Forgotten Realms.

This ability to leave your camp and travel to your last location will be really useful when you're exploring areas that might be extra dangerous. Don't refrain from taking a break and returning to your camp to do some long resting, or even using the camp's tools to strengthen your party before returning to the deadly enemies you might have escaped from.

Continue to do so in perfect strategic sense so no enemy or obstacle will get in your way. You will also be able to interact and even change your party's composition while you are in camp. Make the best of these abilities and return to the world when done!
