How do I run faster in Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon?

When you first start playing the game, Cereza moves very slowly across the Avalon Forest. You can only move at one set speed when fully holding down the left thumbstick, with no option to jog or sprint.

Fortunately, this changes once you meet the absurd demon, Cheshire. When he's in his hidden mode, tucked into Cereza's stuffed doll, he can extend out by holding the right stick in the direction you're moving. Doing so allows Cheshire to grab resources and collectibles just out of reach, but it also gives you a slight speed boost.

Therefore, if you're trying to move fast across the Avalon Forest, you need to point the right stick in the same direction as Cereza is moving, while Cheshire is in Together mode. It's not quite as fast as Bayonetta's trademark dash, but it's the best way to make her run that bit faster.
