A new week has arrived in Marvel Snap, bringing us the latest Black Order member, Cull Obsidian, but what is the best Marvel Snap Cull Obsidian deck to try if you've pulled Black Dwarf.

If you've been playing the best Marvel Snap Supergiant deck for the past week and want a change of pace, or have been spending time with the best Marvel Snap Black Swan deck waiting for Cull Obsidian to arrive, you'll be wanting to know which deck he is best placed in. Well, look no further!

Before we get any further, Cull Obsidian is a 4-Cost, 10-Power card which has the text "You can only play this where you have a 1-Cost card". However, compared to cards like Typhoid Mary or Attuma that offer similar stats with harsher text, Cull Obsidian fits well in a variety of decks.

Best Marvel Snap Cull Obsidian deck

The best deck for Cull Obsidian, according to the Untapped tracker, is:

  • Jeff
  • Lockjaw
  • Caiera
  • Shang-Chi
  • Cull Obsidian
  • Devil Dinosaur
  • Leech
  • Vision
  • Blob
  • Thanos
  • Skaar
  • Magneto

It's no surprise that Cull Obsidian pairs well with the Mad Titan, especially in a Lockjaw shell that allows him to get pulled using Infinity Stones or lets him be playable alongside them. Pairing him with last season's card will also make Skaar cheaper, and Blob will absorb his high power.

Of course, this deck runs a fair few Series 5 cards, including Caiera, Jeff, and Blob. However, you can switch out the trio for Armor, Nightcrawler, and another 6-Cost high-power card like Hulk respectively.

The main lines of play are using the Infinity Stones with Lockjaw and bring some power onto the board, or using their various effects to help your plays. However, having Lockjaw and potentially the Mind or Time Stone in hand on Turn 1 is a good time to snap.

That's the best deck currently for the latest Series 5 card in Marvel Snap. If you're hoping to pick Cull Obsidian up, find out how to get new cards in Marvel Snap, or check out our guide on Marvel Snap Gold if you're willing to spend some money on bundles with Tokens in.
