Black Ops 4 DLC 4 is the final piece of DLC in the Black Ops 4 season pass before the launch of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019 game. A Black Ops reboot is on the cards for COD 2020 and could tell us more about the Zombies storyline in DLC 4 and beyond. We're also awaiting a release date, which will likely be after the Modern Warfare 2019 beta.

Why Will COD 2020 Effect The Zombies Storyline?
What we have been hearing about Black Ops 4's DLC 4 is that the Aether storyline will come to a conclusive end after 10 years. Whether this is true or not, we will have to wait and see, but if COD 2020 was to be a reboot it would certainly make sense. By rebooting the series and the zombies mode, the story can take a new direction without the limitations of the story's past.
This is the end of the line for the Primis, Ultimis and Victis crews in zombies. In the future, the focus will more than likely be on new characters within the Aether multi-verse and will create the opportunity to explore new ideas - it may even pick up on the several storylines that were made during the course of the Aether story.
DLC 4 will likely be the end of the current story and it will finally reach a conclusion. Many are hoping to visit the Great War itself, which was teased at the end of DLC 3's Easter Egg. However, there are more and more leaks that a Call of the Dead remake will be DLC 4 instead.
If you're looking to understand the Aether story, you can read about it on the Call of Duty Wiki.
