Black Ops Cold War is the name of the new Call of Duty title for 2020.
The Alpha has been off to a flying start, as PS4 players are aiming to be the best this year.
The new scorestreak system has been received well so far, but some players are getting used to the new HUD.
All Eyes
One of the game designers for Black Ops Cold War, Tony Flane; has been a great pipeline for communication so far.
Now, he has noted a very important detail regarding scorestreaks.
It appears players will be able to view every other player's scorestreaks, and how close they are to them on the scoreboard now.
This is the first time we have seen this in a Call of Duty game as well.
So, it will be interesting to see how players adapt to this change.
Adapt
This change does not seem like it will affect regular public matches as much.
But, we can see this being a vital change for competitive matches and the CDL.
Knowing how close someone is to a scorestreak, can change your entire playstyle.
Will you push that certain chokehold on the map if you know that enemy is inches away from a Chopper Gunner?
We will have to see how this change is received by the community!
