Turns out Borderlands 3 is getting a second season pass.

In a new blog post on Thursday, Gearbox Software announced more plans for the (next-gen) future of its flagship looter shooter. Starting November 10, players will be able to purchase a second annual DLC bundle — “Season Pass 2” — for Borderlands 3 on all platforms.

Borderlands Season Pass 2 contents

Season Pass 2 includes two “add-ons unlike anything we’ve done before. This new season will include the Designer’s Cut and Director’s Cut DLCs, which each offer new modes and ways to play. A copy of Borderlands 3 is required to play the content in Season Pass 2,” the developer writes.

The first of these two add-ons will unlock a new skill tree for every Vault Hunter, as well as a new game mode called Arms Race.

“The second half of Season Pass 2, Director’s Cut, is planned to release in Spring 2021; we’ll have more details to share closer to launch.”

The Designer’s Cut DLC will also be available on November 10.

“We’re saving Director’s Cut details for another day,” the blog post adds, “but rest assured it will be bursting with next-level mayhem as Borderlands 3 continues its second year.”
