Destiny 2 developer and publisher Bungie has established a new international office in Amsterdam.
The new office will open in 2022 and will be the new home of the company's publishing and marketing teams (thanks, GI.biz).
Bungie Opens Amsterdam Office and Grows Bellevue HQ
The team at Bellevue will also grow, with the developer's home base expected to grow from 84,000 square feet to 208,000 square feet.
This will allow the HQ to support "support multiple project teams, including those outside of the Destiny Universe".
We already know that Bungie is working on a new IP that is codenamed "Matter", as well as other projects that are apparently "showing promise".
On the back of this announcement, Bungie confirmed that it plans to launch one new IP before 2025, although whether this is Matter or another project is unknown.
Bungie has also added two new faces to its board of directors.
Trace Harris joins from Vivendi, previously acting as the SVP of strategy, finance and business innovation.
Pamela Kaufman is currently ViacomCBS' president of global consumer products.
