It's no secret that Zombies mode is the most favored feature in Black Ops 6 because its gameplay offers something different from standard multiplayer modes.
The Terminus map revives the horror elements fans thought were lost in the recent Zombies titles. This article will guide you through finding and triggering the secret jumpscare on the Terminus map.
How To Find the Secret Jumpscare on Terminus in Black Ops 6 Zombies
You must activate the three AMP generators throughout the map before reaching the jumpscare.
These generators are essential for turning on the power, which allows various systems, including the Maglev Elevator, to function properly.
If you've been roaming around Terminus for a while, you’ve probably activated those generators. Once all the generators are running, head back to the Holding Cells area.
This is where you spawned when the game started. The Maglev Elevator is located at the far end of the room. If the elevator isn't there, you’ll need to summon it now that the power is on.
Once it’s ready, pay 500 Essence to use it. Once the doors begin to shut, start hitting the jump button repeatedly (whether it’s X, A, or Space, depending on your platform).
It’s best to keep spamming the jump button rapidly so you don’t lose your chance. If you do it right, a creepy laugh will echo in the elevator, confirming that the jumpscare has been triggered.
The elevator will then start moving down, but this ride will be anything but normal. The walls of the elevator will become smeared with blood and guts, and the entire space will feel suffocatingly grim.
While you’re going down, you’ll see glowing zombie eyes and those creepy Amalgam creatures creeping up around the elevator. It’s like something out of a horror movie.
If you don’t trigger it on your first try, just give it another shot. Remember to press the jump button as the doors close.
This creepy Easter egg doesn’t provide any gameplay rewards, but it’s a thrilling experience to get your heart racing, especially if you bring unsuspecting friends.
