The Hacking Device is essential in Black Ops 6 Zombies for unlocking paths. It helps players navigate complex puzzles, quests, and hidden objectives, especially during Easter Egg missions.

How to Get the Hacking Device in Black Ops 6 Zombies
Before you can get the Hacking Device, you'll need to collect the Beamsmasher Wonder Weapon.
You can get it through a lucky pull from the Mystery Box or by crafting it with specific items. Once acquired, head to one of the Tentacle Traps around the Bio Lab.
These traps are usually located near Speed Cola or PhD Flopper areas. Use the Beamsmasher’s standard attack on the trap to dislodge a Hard Drive, which will drop from the tentacles.
If you don’t get the Hard Drive on your first attempt, try other Tentacle Trap locations until it appears. Once you have the Hard Drive, head to the Guard Station to find Peck waiting there.
Go to the Guard Station's Dropbox and interact to hand over the Hard Drive. This will trigger a series of events that will lead to the release of the Terminus Keycard.
Once you retrieve the Keycard, use it to access Node Connectors, essential for repairing broken pipes in various locations on the map.
Make your way to a designated area shown on your map, such as a sunken ship, usually located near the coordinates C6.
Inside, a ladder takes you to a workshop room where the first Node Connector sits on a table. Collecting the Node Connector will activate a lockdown, so steel yourself for a series of zombie attacks.
Since carrying the connector slows you down, consider positioning yourself where you can easily escape if you get surrounded.
After surviving the first lockdown and collecting the first Node Connector, you’ll have to install it at one of the faulty pipes on the map.
Though every pipe has its spot, you can go to whichever is nearest:
- Pipe Location 1: Head to the docks area near the Deadshot Daquiri machine, located around coordinates F6. This pipe is located near the shore of an island and is usually easy to spot from the main path. Check for signs of damage or wear in the piping structures along the shore. These indicators will confirm it as a valid repair location.
- Pipe Location 2: Look for the second pipe in the tunnels by Speed Cola, typically around the E5 coordinates. This area has narrow pathways, which can make maneuvering difficult. Take it slow to avoid being trapped by zombies in cramped quarters while carrying the Node Connector.
- Pipe Location 3: You can find the third pipe near the coast on the main island, around D7. You’ll spot it by the water, usually showing some wear and tear. If the pipes at the other locations are connected, you’ll want to attach the connector here instead.
After repairing the pipes, return to the Guard Station and interact with Peck’s Dropbox again. This time, he will provide you with the Hacking Device.
You’ll need this device for the next phase since it helps you hack key spots on the map, especially the buoys in the water.
How to Use the Hacking Device in Black Ops 6 Zombies
To use the Hacking Device, navigate to three buoys in the surrounding sea.
Each buoy is uniquely positioned and marked by flying Parasite enemies, so they should be easy to spot. Start by securing a boat, usually found near the docks, so you can easily hit up each buoy.
Once you reach a buoy, interact with it to initiate the hacking process. This starts a two-minute countdown.
The countdown begins when you hack the first buoy, and you’ll have to move counterclockwise along the shore to locate and hack the remaining two buoys before time runs out.
You must start the process again if the countdown expires before you finish hacking all three buoys.
