Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available now across five platforms.
The latest chapter of the Black Ops series has seen players jump straight into the multiplayer action, with new maps, game modes, and new weaponry to master.
One of the game modes that has returned on Black Ops Cold War is Domination. Alongside the likes of Team Deathmatch, Domination is a classic Call of Duty mode where the first team to reach a total of 200 points is the winner.
Teams earn points by taking control of three points located across the map. Control of one point earns one point, control of two earns two, and control of all three points earns three points every couple of seconds.
With an increased focus on the objective, it’s important to have a weapon that can be effective in both close-quarters and long-distance scenarios.
In this guide, find the perfect loadout when playing Domination.

The Best Domination Class
Krig 6
The Krig 6 assault rifle is one of the strongest rifles in the category thanks to its sheer versatility and ease of use in long-range engagements.
With a versatile weapon being a key to success in Domination, the Krig is the perfect all-rounder to use whether you’re locking down a lane or up close and personal on a hotly contested Domination point.
Here are the attachments we recommend:
- Microflex LED (Optic)
- Muzzle Brake 5.56 (Muzzle)
- 19.7” Takedown (Barrel)
- Ember Sighting Point (Body)
- Field Agent Grip (Underbarrel)
- 40 RND (Magazine)
- Airborne Elastic Wrap (Handle)
- Wire Stock (Stock)
This selection of attachments requires the Gunfighter Wildcard to be selected. The optic and sighting point provides a crystal-clear image of what lies ahead of you and increases visibility of enemy name plates, making it easy to pick them off from distance.
The rest of the attachments reduce recoil to minimal levels, increase the damage range to improve its lethality at long-distance, and even provide a slight increase in hip-fire accuracy which is perfect when in a close encounter with an opponent.

Domination Tips And Tricks
It can be very easy to get overrun by the opposition in a Domination match.
Here are some handy tips that will give you and your team the upper hand every time.
B Control
On all Domination maps, the B point always plays host to a wealth of fast and furious action as both teams do battle in a bid to secure control.
To give your team the best chance of capturing the point before the enemy team, ignore the point closest to you at the start of the game and head straight towards B. Once there, prepare for some resistance but with the Krig in your hands, B should be yours for the taking in just a few seconds.
Spawn Trap
If you have taken control of A or C along with B, it is very easy to establish control on the map. On maps such as Garrison, it is very easy to lock the enemy team into their respective spawn and trap them in while you rack up the points.
Once you and your team have locked in the spawn trap, post up in a position where you can clearly see the opponents attempting to escape and simply pick them off from afar with the Krig.
