AK-47
Since the release of Black Ops Cold War, the AK-47 has skyrocketed in popularity thanks to its immensely strong damage output, solid rate of fire, and effectiveness at any distance.
Find the best attachments to use in a Hardpoint match below:
- KGB Eliminator (Muzzle)
- 18.2” VDV Reinforced (Barrel)
- Spetsnaz Grip (Underbarrel)
- VDV 50 RND Fast Mag (Magazine)
- GRU Elastic Wrap (Handle)
This particular attachment combination reduces recoil to almost non-existent levels, perfect for accurate firing in any scenario.
The barrel provides some additional firepower, improving performance at long-distance while the choice of a 50-round mag reduces the need to reload after every elimination, enabling you to score more kills before having to change magazine.

Hardpoint Tips and Tricks
The Anchor
During a Hardpoint match, certain hills will have spawns that are much closer to them than others. There is a very simple way of securing the better positioning for you and your team and that is by playing the anchor role.
To give your team the easiest access to the Hardpoint, make an effort to rotate to the next hill early, and head towards the rear of where the next hill is going to pop up.
As your teammates continue to battle it out on the old hill, once they are eliminated, they should spawn close to the new Hardpoint hill, giving you a strong chance to collect valuable points.
Supreme Slaying
Considering how effective this AK-47 build is in any given situation, one of the best techniques to adopt during a Hardpoint match is to score as many eliminations as possible.
While your teammates maintain control of the Hardpoint, roam around the nearby area and take out any opponents trying to wrestle control of the hill from your team.
By slaying out the opposition, you will force them to spawn further away from the Hardpoint, giving you and your team more time to build a comfortable lead.
