Black Ops Cold War will give players the opportunity to play in the Open Beta before launch later this year.
Every year since Black Ops 3, Activision has released a beta for those that are keen to play the new Call of Duty and experience what it has to offer.
Despite the impact of COVID-19, this year is no different.

How To Get Into The Black Ops Cold War Beta
To get into the Black Ops Cold War beta, you simply need to pre-order any version of the game, digitally via the platform of your choice's store.
The beta is available early to those that pre-order digitally. PS4 will receive the beta first as part of the exclusivity deal with Sony/PlayStation.
You'll receive an email with your beta redemption code, which you will likely need to activate on the Call of Duty website. These codes are universal and not platform-specific.
Once you've selected your platform, this should give you up your codes for the platform of your choice
In the past, up to three codes have been generated, allowing you to distribute them to friends and family.
It's unknown at this time whether you can request a refund after receiving your beta code.
Sky Broadband customers can also get early access to the long-awaited multiplayer Beta a month before its release via Sky VIP.
