Gun Game is a classic party mode that first made an appearance as a form of wager match all the way back in the first Black Ops title that released in 2010.

This Free-For-All mode sees players load into the game with the sole objective of working through a set of 20 weapons. The first player to score a kill with each of the weapons is crowned the winner.

Players can halt the progress of their opponents by performing a brutal Finishing Move or by eliminating them with a melee attack. Doing this pushes them back a tier, giving you the perfect opportunity to build a lead.

Gun Game will be releasing during the first week of Season Two.

Stockpile

Arriving during the course of the new season, Stockpile is Treyarch’s take on fast-paced mode Grind that appeared in the 2019 reboot of Modern Warfare.

This hybrid between Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint sees players collecting dog tags that are dropped by eliminating an opponent. The tags earned do not count towards the score of the team until they are dropped at a designated drop-off point that rotates around the map.

Players can opt to deposit a few tags at a time but with the ability to carry a large number of tags at any one time, dropping them off all at once can offer huge XP boosts and increases in score, allowing you to score some extremely powerful Scorestreaks to aid your team on the way to victory.

Hardpoint is receiving the multi-team treatment in Season 2!

Another mode arriving at some point during Season Two is Hardpoint Multi-Team.

Described as the “biggest version of Hardpoint ever created in Call of Duty,” Hardpoint Multi-Team will see ten squads of four battle for control of Hardpoint hills on the biggest maps Black Ops Cold War has to offer.

Hardpoint hills will rotate every two minutes, with the first squad managing to reach 500 seconds of hill time declared the winner.
