In a Tweet, notable Call of Duty leaker @BKT00R posted sections of a forum post which included details on brand-new maps arriving to Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

Alongside details on two new maps, the post also revealed that there will be a total of six original maps coming to Zombies, and three more maps that will be available in the Battle Pass.

Firebase Z

Set in Vietnam, Firebase Z is the second map arriving as part of the Dark Aether storyline. Releasing on February 4th, the forum post unveiled details on how the map is laid out.

Said to feature a medium-sized outpost with compact rooms and corridors alongside a large abandoned village in the middle of the jungle, Firebase Z is likely to offer a Zombies experience like no other.

Mauer der Toten

The second original Zombies map set to release is called Mauer der Toten and will be set in East Berlin. A map set in Germany’s capital city has been rumoured for several months and with this latest leak adding even more fuel to the ever-growing fire, it’s looking likely that Zombies will be returning to Germany.

Featuring wide-open streets combined with tight spaces inside a variety of buildings, the map is also said to feature elements from classic Zombies maps Kino der Toten and Verruckt.

Spusk Stali

The third and final map is unlike any Zombies map that has been released. Spusk Stali is rumoured to be set inside a glacier located at the summit of a mountain, and will be completely vertical.

Containing an abandoned Russian facility alongside an intricate network of caverns and caves containing ruins and artefacts, players will move around the map using portals. According to the forum post, it is still in early development so take this information with a pinch of salt.

The release dates for Mauer der Toten and Spusk Stali are likely to be unveiled in the build-up to a brand-new season of content.

With Firebase Z arriving just before the end of Season One, Mauer der Toten could well be released during Season Two. Considering Spusk Stali is in early development, its release will likely take place in one of the final seasons.

As for the three unnamed maps, it is unclear as to when they could be appearing in the game.

Battle Pass

It has also been revealed that the Battle Pass will now contain a variety of Zombies content for players to unlock.

Believed to focus on Operator skins for the likes of Samantha Maxis and Eddie Redpoll, the new cosmetics could be available as soon as the start of Season Two scheduled to release at the end of February.

Alongside new Operator skins, the leak also reveals that players can get their hands on three additional maps.

The first is named Green Run and is a complete remake of TranZit from Black Ops 2. The second is a remake of Die Rise, and the third is a re-worked iteration of Buried. It’s looking good for fans of Black Ops 2 Zombies!

It’s important to take the leaks with a pinch of salt until Treyarch officially reveals anything but if these are accurate, Call of Duty Zombies is in a very good place for the rest of the year.
