Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2: New maps coming THIS WEEK for all players

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 2 is almost two weeks old, but it's been a strange season so far.

While the game itself has suffered a couple of glitches affecting both perks and regiment tags, players are itching for fresh updates on the constantly-leaking Warzone Battle Royale mode which is allegedly coming in March.

Season 2 has already offered great content in terms of free maps, weapons, and operators, but there's good news – another new Gunfight map is coming.

As we discussed in the run-up to Season 2, Bazaar is a fresh battleground for the 2v2 mode and offers plenty of flanking opportunities. Check out the image below.

That's not all, though. A fresh variation of Ground War, dubbed 'Infantry Ground War', is also landing this week and offers the same 64-player, large-scale battles across huge maps, but removes tanks and vehicles. Expect snipers to dominate!

There's also a 'Sniper-only' mode on Rust for 3 vs 3, and the usual bug fixes.

As a reminder, the Seasonal content model was implemented by Infinity Ward and Activision to avoid splitting the player-base like the map packs of the past. Hopefully, it'll see the game maintain a longer lifespan.
