Warzone, Call of Duty's free-to-play Battle Royale mode, has become somewhat of a phenomenon since launching earlier this year.
In the crowded Battle Royale space, the game manages to take the franchise's strong core mechanics and add it to a huge new map, while adding new elements like the Gulag.
Of course, Nintendo Switch owners haven't been able to jump in Verdansk yet – and that looks unlikely to change anytime soon.

Will Warzone Come To Nintendo Switch?
There are a couple of things standing in Warzone's way at present if it wants to make it to the Switch.
The first is the console's undoubted lack of power in comparison to the PS4 or Xbox One.
That's not to say the console isn't capable, of course, especially with the likes of DOOM Eternal still slated for release on the platform, while Nintendo always manages to wring every ounce of power out of the hybrid machine, but we're yet to see a Call of Duty title on the platform.
Considering the size and detail in Verdansk, it's unlikely that'll change soon, although with CoD Mobile offering a Battle Royale mode, who knows?
Then there's the Switch's iffy online functionality, which never seems particularly stable at the best of times (possibly due to being playable predominantly via Wi-Fi).
That's not to say it's impossible (we've had plenty of Fortnite matches on Switch with nary a hitch), but between that and Friend Codes, and a lack of true voice chat support from Nintendo, it seems a lot of work to get a 150-player match going.
All of this is to say that no, Warzone isn't likely to come to the Switch, but we'll update this piece if we hear anything otherwise.
Thankfully, as we mentioned earlier, you can play Fortnite just fine – and Apex Legends is on the way, too.
Maybe Activision is just having flashbacks to the terrible Black Ops: Declassified on PlayStation Vita...
