Just a week since the conclusion of the Minnesota Home Series and the Call of Duty League (CDL) is back in action.
The Paris Home Series will see eight of the 12 franchise teams battle it out for a share of $100,000 in prize money and those all-important CDL Points as the season moves ever-closer to the season-ending playoffs.

Taking place from June 19-21st, the Paris Home Series is the 10th event in the CDL calendar and will be exclusively live on the CDL YouTube channel. Find streams to all three days below.

Participating Teams
The Paris Home Series may not feature the top five teams in the league but the Dallas Empire, Atlanta FaZe and Minnesota winners Florida Mutineers will all be in action. OpTic Gaming Los Angeles, New York Subliners and the London Royal Ravens will also be returning to action after showing signs of improvement in recent events.

Format
As always, the eight teams will be split into two groups of four. The teams will compete against each other until two teams from each group have scored two victories, booking their places into the knockout bracket.
The remaining teams will then battle it out for the victory in a single-elimination bracket.
Teams will earn a total of 10 CDL Points for every victory that they score. Points are also awarded based on the final placements of each team.

First-Round Predictions
Given how competitive the Minnesota Home Series was, predicting which team will walk away with the victory isn’t going to be easy but we are going to see if we can predict which teams will advance to the second round of group play.
Florida Mutineers v Paris Legion
The most recent Home Series winners looked in fine form as they defeated Atlanta in the finals last weekend. On the other hand, Paris has looked out of sorts in comparison to their run of form early in the season so the team will be looking to return to winning ways with a strong showing.
As much as Paris need to get some points on the board, defeating Florida is a tough task. The series has the potential to be a close contest but at the end, Florida will be walking away with the win.
Dallas Empire v London Royal Ravens
Dallas has been one of the most consistent teams in the whole league, continuously placing highly to keep the points tally ticking over while London has shown big steps forward since the addition of Trei “Zer0” Morris to the roster.
The last time these teams played was all the way back at CDL London and on that occasion, the series went the distance and given London’s improvements, I think that this could be another five-game thriller, with the Royal Ravens taking the win over the Empire
OpTic Gaming Los Angeles v New York Subliners
This has match of the day written all over it. Both teams have undergone a massive resurgence in the second half of the season thanks to the likes of Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat excelling with the M4 and rookie Mackenzie “Mack” Kelley adding some aggression into the Subliners frontline.
This also has all the makings of a series that will go the distance but if one team is firing on all cylinders and the other isn’t, it could well be a sweep for either one of these two teams. On this occasion, I’m going with the Green Wall to advance.
Toronto Ultra v Atlanta FaZe
Toronto appear to be in limbo with Nicholas “Classic” DiCostanzo, arguably the best player on the team. In recent weeks it was rumoured that he would be demoted to the bench in favour of Tobi “CleanX” Juul Jønsson ahead of the Minnesota Home Series but at the last minute, he was added back into the team.
Atlanta are fresh of another top-two finish and will be looking to overtake the absent Chicago Huntsmen with a strong result this weekend.
Despite the Ultra showing some signs that they can contend with the top teams in the CDL, Atlanta is in a prime position to get some early points on the board against a team seemingly in turmoil. Can Toronto cause the upset? Perhaps not this time around. Atlanta to sweep the series convincingly.
