Challenger Series Week 3 Leaderboards

Challenger Series Week 3 Leaderboards: Revenge of the Leaderboard

Challengers, Competitors, Lurkers - lend me your ears! As the 2nd half of the

Challenger Series

season 1 gets underway, and the Elite Draft looms ever closer, it’s time for our weekly gander at the stories that unfolded throughout the previous week’s play. Which players scooped up the lion’s share of the £5,000 combined prize pot? Which new players clawed their way into the top 10s? What’s the

gossip

this week, girlfriend?

Well, allow me just get my spreadsheet open…

As we enter the final furlong - the

Rocket League

leaderboards are beginning to take shape. Whilst the mid-table scrummage remains largely unchanged - German wunderkind, Alex161, soars 6 places to the number 1 spot with 3 grand-final appearances this week! Teammates DataRL and Reepex70 join him at 5th and 10th respectively. Needless to say - a good week for ParallaX!

The

Street Fighter V

boards this week saw infexious hang on to his number 1 spot - but only just! Atrosh explodes onto the scene, stealing the 2nd spot from Vertigoleague, with 2 cup wins (including Sunday’s special XL prize pot). Another newcomer to the top 10 sits imposingly in the number 8 spot with his signature blue Bison: wp to Venom44 for maintaining consistent top 8 placements throughout the week.

The

CS:GO

board was a whirlwind, as usual. For the third consecutive week it’s all change in the top spots. Welcome to the top, fines, don’t get too comfortable… Both fines and GruBy prove that consistent form can sometimes beat one-off excellence by grinding to the top the ol’ fashioned way. KenaJ- and the rest of the wonder.boys were curiously absent in this week’s cups - missing the opportunity to consolidate the previous week’s wins.

With so much movement, in SFV and CS:GO in particular, across these boards one thing is certain: it’s not too late to make an impact on Challenger Series! Remember, body your opponents and rise high enough and you may be in with a shot of playing for a pro team in the Elite Series. Do not sleep on Challenger -
