V Rising is the latest game to take Steam by storm, hitting phenomenal player counters in the process. The RTS vampire game tasks you with creating your own rival to Dracula, choosing exactly how to setup your own medieval castle, as well as drawing blood from innocents while fighting your rivals. Given how popular it is, one question lingers: is V Rising coming to consoles?
In this guide, we'll break down when, or even if, V Rising will make an appearance on consoles down the line. That's on top of speculation as to which platforms it may show up on, as well as whether it may cost you for the privilege of playing V Rising on console.
Elsewhere, why not redeem some codes for mobile hits? We've got Cookie Run: Kingdom codes and Raid: Shadow Legends codes if you like combat-focused RPGs. Over on the Roblox platform, there are some fresh Slayers Unleashed codes worth your time.
Is V Rising Coming to Consoles?
At the time of writing, there isn't any confirmation of V Rising releasing on consoles down the line. It seems to just be a PC focused release right now, and it'll likely stay that way for the short-term future.
Of course, that's not to say V Rising won't come to consoles at some point down the line. Previous PC hits like DayZ eventually their way to consoles, after such positive reception on Steam. Given V Rising is already hugely popular and likely nearing the end of early access, it's an option that Stunlock Studios will definitely be exploring.
We expect that, if V Rising does come to consoles down the line, it'll be for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. Given the sprawling worlds and intense graphics of V Rising, the hardy little Nintendo Switch may not be able to handle it. Of course, if things change and we do get some platform confirmation, we'll update this guide.
Will V Rising Cost Money on Consoles?
Yes, we expect that if V Rising eventually lands on consoles, it won't come free. It currently costs £15.49 on Steam for the PC version, and a console port will likely be around the same price.
Of course, compard to your average triple-A game price, V Rising is far more reasonable. Equally, that price could well change if a console release does show up. It could either be cheaper due to the longer wait for a release, or more expensive due to added features, in something akin to a deluxe version. We'll have to wait and see.
That's it for our look at whether V Rising will come to consoles! As soon as we have more information, we'll update this guide. Until then, feel free to browse our Genshin Impact 2.7 hub to see everything new in the upcoming update.
