Crash Bandicoot 4 Could Be Coming To Xbox Series X and PS5

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is out now, and fans of the maverick marsupial seem to be loving the new adventure.

In fact, in our very own review, we noted that the game "stands tall over the rest of the platforming genre".

Currently available on PS4 and Xbox One, it looks like Crash could be belly-flopping onto next-gen system, too.

Crash Bandicoot 4 Could Be Coming To PS5 and Xbox Series X

According to an ESRB rating page spotted by the folks at GamesRadar, the game has been listed for Xbox Series X.

While that presumably also includes an Xbox Series S version is coming, it's also highly likely that a PS5 version of the game is in the works.

With new console hardware just around a month away, plenty of titles are bridging the generational gap.

It could be that developer Toys for Bob is looking to utilise Microsoft's Smart Delivery system.

That means owners of the game on Xbox would get the Series S/X optimised version, too.

While Sony has noted that PS4 games will be playable on PS5, we're still unsure if these will be backwards-compatible titles or upgraded versions that harness the PlayStation 5's capabilities.
