Update 2.0 has breathed new life into Cyberpunk 2077, alongside the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC. However, one issue you may run into while playing Phantom Liberty is the amount of time you have to wait in Cyberpunk 2077 during the Phantom Liberty main story.

However, working out how exactly to skip time, a staple feature of many RPGs, can be a bit of a challenge, especially on PC where the location of the feature is somewhat hidden due to an obscure keybind. In this guide, we'll give you a comprehensive walkthrough on how to skip time in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk's side quests and gigs are great ways to kill time, but sometimes you just want to hit the next story beat as soon as you can. Being able to wait through the long gaps in the Phantom Liberty storyline, particularly after the DLC's penultimate mission, will make you able to reach the game's new ending faster.

How do you wait in Cyberpunk 2077?

To wait in Cyberpunk 2077, you'll want to start by opening the in-game menu. You'll often bypass this screen by heading straight to your map or your inventory, but this is the only screen you can skip time from. You can check the keybind to open this menu in the settings, however the default is set to H on PC, and START on consoles.

In the bottom left of your screen, you'll see the in-game time, and a button that says Skip Time. Pressing this button will cause a dial to appear in the middle of the screen. On this dial, the current time is marked by the red dot, and you'll be able to control the location of the blue dot to set how far forward you wish to skip.

The upper half of the dial represents during the day (between 6AM and 6PM) with the midpoint marking midday, whilst the lower half represents night. You can only select times to the nearest hour, so

Once you select the time you wish to skip to, you'll automatically wait until that time. If you want to skip a full day, you'll have to go all the way around the dial to pick the current time the next day.

That's all there is to know about skipping time in Cyberpunk 2077.
