Perhaps the most exciting feature coming in the Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, Phantom Liberty, is the addition of a new district in Night City, Dogtown. In this guide we'll run you through everything you need to know in order to enter Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty and begin the main questline.

Despite being one of Night City's smaller areas, the district of Dogtown is densely packed with points of interest and things to do. Dogtown is run by the Barghest, led by their leader Kurt Hansen, and is actually part of the Pacifica region of Night City; an area in which many people wished to see expanded in post-release content.

How do I enter Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty?

You'll only be able to access Dogtown by first completing the opening mission of the Phantom Liberty storyline, Dog Eat Dog. In this mission, the Phantom Liberty story will be set up as you sneak into the EBM Petrochem Stadium.

Entering the stadium will consist of a prolonged section of light parkour whilst avoiding the Barghest guards. Take care to not get detected, as there is an overwhelming number of guards in this section. After completing some dialogue you'll be able to make your way into Dogtown.

In spite of Dogtown's ruined buildings and disintegrating roads, the new region of Night City has a surprising amount of charm to it, whilst remaining very distinctive from the other districts. Some of the points of interest within the region provide perhaps the prettiest shots in the whole game.

Once you've been inside Dogtown, you'll be able to access several Fast Travel markers to return to the district. Additionally, you'll now be able to come and go via the front gates that were closed to you before.

However, if you're wanted by the police, you won't be able to get through the security checkpoint without a major showdown.

That's all you need to know for you to travel in and out of Dogtown in Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. For more on update 2.0 and the new DLC, check out our guides on how to buy vehicles in Dogtown and how to get into the Black Sapphire.
