DayZ: How to Rotate Items
On PC, it's as easy as hitting the space bar while dragging something to your backpack. Doing so will let you manipulate it to fit it more snugly in the available slots.
On consoles, this functionality doesn't seem to be present – at least not yet. With DayZ growing week by week, it could be added in the future. If you're struggling for space, try and combine matching ammo types and put some bullets in your weapon where possible.
