Dead by Daylight Alan Wake perks
After his adventures in Bright Falls, best-selling author Alan Wake has come to Dead by Daylight to showcase his survival skills. Here are the different perks Mr. Wake will be working with in this crossover.
Champion of Light
When shining a flashlight, movement speed will be increased. Any Killer afflicted with Blind will gain the Hindered status effect, effectively slowing them down temporarily.
Boon: Illumination
Create a Boon Totem that allows Survivors to see the auras of Generators and Chests throughout the map. When a Boon Totem is lit, you can Cleanse and Bless Totems faster.
Deadline
While injured, the frequency of Skill Checks while healing Survivors or repairing generators will be increased. If any Skill Check is missed while Deadline is active, the penalty will be halved.
What are the best builds and perks for Alan Wake?
Alan Wake is extremely effective with a flashlight in hand. With this build, you’ll be able to raise your team’s chances of surviving the night.
Champion of Light (Alan Wake perk)
Being able to move faster and slow down the Killer is a great perk to have in Dead by Daylight. Other perks in this build will make Alan Wake more impactful with the flashlight, but Champion of Light will serve as the centrepiece.
Built to Last (Felix Richter perk)
With the flashlight being the star of this build, you’re going to want to preserve its batteries. You can extend your flashlight’s battery life by hiding inside a locker with the Built to Last perk.
Residual Manifest (Haddie Kaur perk)
When equipped with the Residual Manifest perk, pointing your flashlight towards the Killer will inflict them with Blindness. Add the slowing effects of Champion of Light and you’ve got a great chance of putting some distance between yourself and your pursuer.
Empathy (Claudette Morel perk)
The Empathy perk allows you to track down teammates who are either dying or injured while being stalked by the Killer. This gives you an opportunity to hit the Killer with your flashlight effects and help your ally escape a gruesome death.
