Destiny 2 Season of the Worthy this week – meaning we're just days away from returning to the Trials of Osiris.
This high-level PVP activity offers unique rewards and a much higher degree of challenge. Teams of three Guardians duke it out with no respawns, and the last squad standing after five rounds is the winner. It's tense, sweaty stuff, especially when factoring in that nine wins can get you the best rewards (this is called 'going flawless').
Here's our guide to winning in Trials of Osiris.

Destiny 2: Trials of Osiris Guide
We'll preface this guide with a disclaimer that with Season of the Worthy launching tomorrow and Trials of Osiris beginning this weekend, the tips below are based on the previous incarnation of the mode. We'll update this as things change.
Back in the Fight
As important as killing enemies is, Trials of Osiris is just as focused on surviving. If your team falls, so will you, which means if your comrade needs reviving, you should make it a priority. With that in mind, don't stray
Top Class
Class abilities are new to Destiny 2, but they can make all the difference. Need to revive your friend? Put up a shield or a rift to prevent incoming damage or buff your squad if an enemy sneaks up. Hunters, on the other hand, can use their dodges to reload and keep up an attack without needing to stop and take cover.
Pack A Sniper
With maps offering long sightlines, sniper rifles and scout rifles are ideal for dealing some damage – hopefully while your squad circles around.
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work
Watching each other's backs is imperative to survival in the mode. Plug your mic in and call out enemy locations – information can win these battles just as much as your trigger finger can.
Adapt
At the beginning of a Trials of Osiris match, you'll get a sneak peek at your opponents' loadout. Use that to inform your strategy – if they're rocking a sniper rifle, do your best to get in close. If they're using an SMG, try to keep them at a distance.
We'll be updating this guide as we hear more about Trials of Osiris and get into the arena ourselves. See you there, Guardian.
