It's going to be some time until Diablo 4 is finally released, and whilst we might have Diablo 2 Resurrected to keep us occupied (albeit without the Season 1 Ladder), most fans might prefer to stick with Diablo 3, which never fails to satisfy our needs from one season to the next.
Despite being seven years old, Diablo 3 is certainly not getting long in the tooth just yet; there's plenty of fun to be had from the hack-and-slash action RPG still.
If you're just starting out with Diablo (firstly, where have you been?) then you might be wondering which class you should pick when Diablo 3 Season 25 Starts. Well, worry not, we've got an up to date Diablo 3 Season 25 Tier List you can read, which sorts your S Tier builds from your F Tier flops. We also have a guide to level up fast if you need help with that too.
However, if the Necromancer class has caught your eye and you want to know the best build to use in Diablo 3 Season 25, don't you worry. We've got all the key details you'll need just below.

Is The Necromancer Good In Diablo 3 Season 25?
For Solo Greater Rift Pushing yes, it's certainly decent. In Season 25 there are two definitive builds worth running considering. The first is the Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion Necromancer build (S Tier), whilst the other is the Rathma Army of the Dead Necromancer build (A Tier).
The Legacy of Dreams Poison Scythe Necromancer is also a decent A Tier option. If you really wanted to you could also use the Masquerade Bone Spear Necromancer (which we also have a guide for on the link) but it's dropped slightly in Season 25 and can only be considered a B-Tier option at best.
Safe to say there are plenty of options for the Necromancer class in Season 25.
What is the Best Necromancer Build in Diablo 3 Season 25
The best Necromancer build for Diablo 3 season 25 (as of patch 2.7.2) is the Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion.
Corpse Explosion, for those who don't know, is the main active skill we're running with, and allows players to "Target an area exploding up to 5 corpses within 11 yards dealing 1050% weapon damage as Physical to enemies within 20 yards."
As we noted before, you could also use the Rathma Army of the Dead Necromancer build, which is good for farming paragon, items and more, but it's arguably not the best build once you reach the highest greater rifts in the game.
Keep reading, we'll explain everything you need to set up your Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion build, including your gear, active skills, passive skills and more.

Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion Gear Setup
For starters, the Legacy of Dreams Corpse Explosion Necromancer doesn't have to worry about set bonuses.
That's because it's all about Legacy of Dreams Gem. So while you have no set bonuses equipped, every legendary item you have equipped increases your damage dealt by 3.75% and reduces your damage taken by 2%. You'll also need to have Rank 25 ancient items of gear will give you even greater power.
DO NOT have more than one set item, as set bonuses will nullify the gem, which defeats the whole purpose of it.
With that in mind, here's the gear setup recommended in Season 25. Follow the links if you would like a closer look at the stats on the official Diablo 3 website.
