Diablo 4 Jade Relic of Explosive Mist item and aspect
The Diablo 4 Jade Relic of Explosive Mist is a type of legendary item. As with most other gear pieces in the game, it's also a random drop. Because of RNG, there's no telling where you can actually get one. But, don't fret, because we've got a few tips for Necro mains that have managed to get their hands on one of these items.
The Diablo 4 Aspect of Explosive Mist
The reason the Diablo 4 Jade Relic of Explosive Mist is sought-after is due to its Legendary Aspect of Explosive Mist. This perk has the following effect:
Blood Mist triggers Corpse Explosion on nearby corpses. Upon detonating a corpse, its cooldown is reduced by X seconds.
By default, Blood Mist is already a great Necromancer skill. It makes you immune to damage for several seconds, and it also heals you.
Likewise, as you can see from the effect noted above, you don't even need to put a single point into Corpse Explosion. All you need is Blood Mist and, if a gear piece has this aspect, your Blood Mist will automatically make nearby corpses go boom. This has the potential to cause huge damage against surrounding enemies due to the area-of-effect radius.
The good news is that you don't necessarily have to look solely for the Jade Relic of Explosive Mist. There is a possibility that this aspect/perk can also be found on other legendaries as a random roll.
Is the Aspect of Explosive Mist worth it?
The Diablo 4 Aspect of Explosive Mist is certainly a decent option for additional area-wide damage. However, remember that this will also destroy the corpses within the vicinity. If your build heavily focuses on undead minions, and those minions happen to be dead already, then you might not have a corpse that can raise them. You practically caused them to go kablooey, remember?
We suggest grabbing skills and passives that can alleviate this issue, such as the Blood Mist's Ghastly perk, and the Hewed Flesh passive. Both of these help with corpse generation when you need it most.
