Diablo 4 is almost here, and alongside some new features, there are some it shares with Diablo 3. But what about the battle pass? How will it work and what is the release date of Diablo 4 Season 1?
In general, each season lasts three months and will have its own quest line and many more challenges. We recommend you complete the campaign as soon as possible before the season is released to fully enjoy everything.
Diablo 4 Season 1 release date
Basically, Diablo Season 1 will not appear immediately after the game gets released, which is on June 6. The developers are aiming for the middle or end of July 2023.
What do seasons have to offer in Diablo?
As for the content, you will get quests that will be updated every season, as well as items, both cosmetics, and things that will boost your character.
Each season will also include a Battle Pass, and to be able to complete it fully, you will have to purchase a subscription. One of the most valuable rewards of each season is Smouldering Ashes, a currency for which you can unlock and improve seasonal blessings.
If you are wondering if the season system will make the game pay-to-win, then we have good news for you. The developers have provided only cosmetic advantages to players who will pay for the Battle Pass.
Battle Pass price
There will be only two paid subscriptions each season:
- Premium, which will cost about $10.
- Accelerated premium, for which you have to pay $25.
That’s it for now! No matter whether you pay for a subscription or not, you'll be able to get the same experience, so that’s really cool, especially considering you need to pay for the game up front too.
