One major thing you need to do is complete all four main story locations and have them reach Level 5 Environment Level. To be clear, that means you need to clear the story for Withered Wasteland, Bleak Beach, Rocky Ridges, and Sparkling Skylands. This is pretty easy, since it's a natural progression in the game.

Finally, you need to complete the Team Initiation Challenges. Throughout the game, you need to acquire eight sets of materials and items as you progress through the game. Completing the strange building is the very last thing you need to do to beat the game.

The strange building you fixed turns out to be a rocket. After finishing the Team Initiation Challenge, the rocket will launch into the air. This kickstarts the ending credits.

As the credits play, the rocket is seen traversing through space, dodging meteors and passing through planets. The rocket then comes across another spaceship, and an astronaut comes out to greet the rocket. Sadly, no Pokemon is on board - but maybe they'll see the photos left behind.
