Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Gets Free Horizon Forbidden West Gear

To celebrate Horizon Forbidden West’s release next week, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is getting a free update, adds Aloy-inspired gear for Jin Sakai to wear.

Revealing the news on Twitter, Sucker Punch showcased how Jin looks in this new getup, advising fans how to obtain the new gear. After updating Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, a Wind Shrine at the north of Iki Island will be repaired. Once players solve this puzzle, they'll get the gear.

However, this doesn't appear to be available to those who own the original version, meaning players need to upgrade to the Director’s Cut. That's a $20 fee if they stay on PS4, or a $30 fee to upgrade for PS5. Aside from this minor costume, players also get a new island to explore with new stories and challenges to take part in.

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is now available on the PS4 and PS5. Horizon Forbidden West comes to PS4 and PS5 next week on February 18, marking the last Sony-exclusive game offer a free upgrade path.
